ADVANCED ALLERGY THERAPEUTICS

How It Works

Do you ever wonder why you are continually coughing, sneezing, or wheezing?

Why you constantly feel tired or often seem irritable?

What about recurrent stomach cramping and bloating?

Or frequent itchy skin rashes or watery eyes?

Persistent nausea or consistent mood swings?

Occasional or repeated migraine headaches, heartburn, acid reflux, sinus congestion, or post-nasal drip?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above, there’s a good chance that you are sensitive or allergic to a food or liquid that you consumed, substance or material you touched, or scent or vapor you breathed.

And, it’s an excellent reason to contact Desneige Acupuncture and Allergy Care to schedule an appointment for an assessment — and a treatment — with Advanced Allergy Therapeutics (AAT).

The AAT therapy has been developed as an Integrative Medicine and is offered by certified AAT practitioners who are licensed Acupuncturists, Naturopathic Doctors, Osteopathic Doctors, Chiropractors, Medical Doctors, and Registered Nurses.

Used extensively throughout the world, particularly Europe and Asia, AAT is a clinically proven treatment that merges 21st century-science with more than 4,000-year-old acupuncture principles in offering a non-invasive, needle-free, no-medication, no-supplement, non-herbal therapy in the treatment of reactions or symptoms associated with as many as 300,000 — or more — different allergies and sensitivities.

Like acupuncture, AAT is a precision-based treatment that emphasizes a “whole body” approach to achieving better health and living a better life. It does not treat the immune system; instead, it targets organ systems that are involved in an “overreaction” (i.e., allergy or sensitivity) to a particular substance or otherwise harmless component typically found in something that you eat, drink, smell, or touch.

Unlike traditional or customary testing and treatment of allergies and sensitivities, which can involve painful or uncomfortable scratch and intradermal tests and shots or injections, AAT identifies or recognizes a particular substance and focuses on the relationship between the symptoms and organ systems via a laptop computer and software that, together, can produce quick, long-lasting relief for many people for the first time in their lives.

The computer is connected to a “cuff” (similar to a blood pressure monitor) that is lightly wrapped around the bicep or forearm areas of either the left or right arm. After the cuff is attached, AAT is able to detect or assess sensitivities or allergies to an extensive and expansive range of substances, such as certain foods, beverages and their multitude of naturally occurring or artificially added components or ingredients; and a multitude of other items including pollens, animals, insects, dust, dairy products, wheat, preservatives, fruit, vegetables, shampoo, vitamins, and a wide variety of contactants of various types or kinds.

These same devices are then used along with a ‘percussor,’ which activates or applies an acupressure technique or procedure along the spine to help “reduce” or “resolve” symptoms related to a particular sensitivity or allergy.

AAT sessions typically take about 20 to 25 minutes to complete and most clients feel or obtain noticeable, sometimes significant, relief within the first several treatments, depending on the source or cause of their symptoms.

A case in point is a patient named Frances who, for most of her adult life, suffered from recurring sinus congestion, frequent watery eyes, and accompanying headaches.

Another is her husband, Will, who experienced occasional digestive problems, including stomach aches and cramps.

And, Julie, who had to stop eating pineapple due to the swelling or inflammation that it produced throughout her body, including her throat.

Using Advanced Allergy Therapeutics to assess the origins or causes of her symptoms, Frances learned that she was highly allergic or sensitive to numerous tree pollens and weeds, which resulted in her persistent sinus problems and accompanying headaches that now are completely cleared and no longer are problems following multiple treatments with AAT.

In Will’s case, AAT was able to successfully assess — and treat – his stomach aches and cramps, which involved allergic reactions to dairy foods that were not related to an intolerance or inability to digest lactose, as is the case for many people, and a sensitivity to wheat that was not associated with gluten, which was not a problem for him.

The same is true for Julie, who, after a decade of avoiding pineapple in any form, was able to eat the fruit once again … after only three AAT treatments.

While Advanced Allergy Therapeutics has proven to be a life-changer for Frances, Will, and Julie, as well as many others, it’s important to note that AAT does not diagnose or test for allergies, sensitivities, or intolerances and it is not used to treat cases of anaphylaxis or life threatening symptoms or reactions to substances. In such instances, strict avoidance of the substance always is advised. However, patients who may experience an anaphylactic reaction to a particular substance may be treated for other sensitivities that are not life threatening.

Who It Helps

Allergy symptoms occur when the body’s immune system responds or overreacts to a substance that is harmless to most people, but triggers or produces a reaction in anyone who is sensitive to it. This substance is known as an allergen.

Advanced Allergy Therapeutics (AAT) available at Desneige Acupuncture and Allergy Care has proven to be effective and successful in providing quick, long-lasting relief from many symptoms associated with allergies and sensitivities, usually caused by a substance that has been consumed, touched, or inhaled.

As with our acupuncture therapy, treatments via AAT’s non-invasive, needle-free, no-medication, no-supplement, non-herbal therapy are helping to significantly improve the health, well-being, and fitness of many people … in some cases with exceptional results.

For them, relief often was obtained within the first several treatments, depending on the source or cause of the reaction or symptom.

Some of the typical areas of the body where a reaction originates and the most common reactions or symptoms caused by an allergy — or sensitivity — inducing substance are:

  • Intestines: Gas, Bloating, Pain, Diarrhea
  • Lungs: Cough, Sneezing, Congestion, Wheezing, Runny Nose, Post-Nasal Drip, Itchy Eyes
  • Stomach: Cramping, Bloating, Nausea, Heartburn, Reflux
  • Kidneys: Fatigue, Tiredness
  • Liver: Stress, Mood Swings, Irritability
  • Skin: Redness, Itchy or Scaly Patches, Rashes, Hives, Blisters

Research and studies show that as many as 50 million people in the United States have an allergy or sensitivity of some kind and food allergies, alone, are estimated to affect about five percent of children and adults. The most probable or likely causes of a person’s allergies or sensitivities can be attributed to the following substances:

  • Detergent
